Alfred Hitchcock's FRENZY was the film featured last night at the HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival presented by the Bank of America. Released in 1972, the movie is a thriller in which an innocent man is accused of a series of necktie murders in Covent Garden in England. The Bryant Park Lawn was still wet last night due to heavy rains hours earlier so the lawn was closed during the screening. The free outdoor movies on Monday nights continue through August 19. The complete schedule can be found at the Bryant Park website. Last night, the top tier of the Empire State Building captured above from Bryant Park was lit in red and white in honor of Canada Day. The special lighting provided a gorgeous backdrop for capturing the event last night.
